What’s the deadline to register to vote for the Nov. 3rd election?
To be eligible to vote in the November 3rd general election, you must register by October 9th.
How do I register to vote?
- Register online. You need a state-issued ID (like a license) to register online.
- Register by mail. Fill out this form, sign it (physically) and mail it into your county Board of Elections.
- Register in person. Request the form at your local county Board of Elections, by phone at 1-800-FOR-VOTE or add yourself to the registration form mailing lis. Your post office may have forms available.

Check your registration here

I’ve been convicted of a felony. Am I allowed to vote?
Yes! In New York State, you are allowed to vote after incarceration -- you must re-register.
